Dear Cyril, Thank you for your comments. They are sincerely appreciated. Regarding the excerpt from 'HerStory', the answer is I granted myself creative license in terms of expression. I would be happy to read your comments on the entire book. Once again thanks.

Ingrid, Your description of " Memories of the mighty Essequibo was clear, lucid and originally Guyanese in context.

Ingrid, In the excerpt from "Herstory" the following words and phrases used appear to fit more in a US context than a local Guyanese context. eg: a) The 3rd paragraph the word "State" is used instead of "County". b) The 4th and 5th paragraphs the description of the rich, unknown male is termed a "Guy" instead of the local Guyanese equivalent "Man" or maybe "?". c) The last paragraph the word "Hooted" and phrase "Cat Called" were used instead of the local Guyanese equivalent "?".
